I started Elena Radu Artistry to help women save time, feel confident, and love how they look — with or without makeup. From permanent makeup to professional event glam, my goal has always been the same: to enhance natural beauty in a way that’s personal, practical, and empowering.

Here’s how it all began…

I’m so glad you’re here and taking the time to read my story. My name is Elena Radu, and I’m a passionate beauty professional with over a decade of experience in makeup and permanent cosmetics.

I speak four languages — Romanian, Russian, English, and some French — and my journey began in Moldova, where I fell in love with makeup as a little girl playing with my mother’s cosmetics. That early fascination led me to become a beauty advisor during my student years, working with brands like Avon, Oriflame, and Younique, where I sharpened both my product knowledge and customer care.

In 2013, I made a life-changing decision to move to the United States, determined to redefine beauty on my own terms. I earned my certifications from Roberts Jones Beauty Academy in 2015, focusing on bridal and editorial makeup, and began specializing in airbrush makeup shortly after.

In October 2016, I joined the MAC Cosmetics family, where I achieved multiple certifications and took on leadership roles that pushed me to grow as both an artist and a professional.

In June 2018, I earned my Microblading certification through World Microblading Academy and officially launched Elena Radu Artistry a month later — opening my first studio suite in Blue Lion Salon Studios – Birnham Woods in Spring, TX, all while still working at the MAC counter in The Woodlands.

By April 2019, I was selected as an instructor for World Microblading’s online academy, which led me to leave MAC and focus full-time on my business. But then life surprised me in the most beautiful way — I became a mother. My daughter was born in December 2019, and I decided to pause the business during maternity leave.

Shortly after, the world changed again with the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many small business owners, I had to regroup, reprioritize, and rebuild.

By September 2022, I returned to the beauty industry full-time, joining Blush Artistry as a contractor and soon becoming one of their senior artists. In January 2024, I refreshed my permanent makeup skills with an advanced 1-on-1 class from Logan Lopez at Perfect 10 Academy. With Logan’s support and my family's encouragement, I reopened my own studio on March 1, 2024 in The Woodlands, TX.

Since then, I’ve continued investing in my education, learning modern techniques like Lip Blushing and Foxy Eyeliner from @5StarAcademy, and expanding my offerings to stay at the forefront of beauty trends.

Today, Elena Radu Artistry is a space where real women come to feel seen, celebrated, and confident — whether it’s through permanent makeup, bridal glam, or special event styling.

My motto, “The beauty will save the world,” fuels everything I do. I don’t just enhance appearances — I help my clients feel comfortable, confident, and empowered in their own skin.
